Keith Peterman served as a Professor of Chemistry at York College of Pennsylvania for more than four decades, retiring in May 2020. He has served as a Fulbright Scholar in Germany and in Russia, a National Academy of Sciences Scholar in Poland, a Research Fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory in DC, and as a visiting professor in China and New Zealand. He is a member of the American Chemical Society Committee on Environmental Improvement. He takes a student group to Costa Rica each year to investigate climate change issues linked to impacts, adaptation, and mitigation. He participates in the annual United Nations climate conferences as an accredited member of the press. His current research and writing focus on issues related to climate change and sustainability. His book with coauthor Matt Cordes—The Overstory of Climate Change in the Anthropocene—is scheduled for release in spring 2021. He is a recipient of the 2020 ACS-CEI Award for Incorporating Sustainability into Chemical Education.

Gregory Foy is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at York College of Pennsylvania.  As a 20+ year member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), he currently serves on the Meetings and Expositions Committee and is a Councilor for the local Southeastern Pennsylvania Section (SEPSACS).    As an analytical chemist, his focus is in the broad area of Analytical Instrumentation with an emphasis in Environmental Analysis.  He writes a blog titled “Global Hot Topics”, and is a contributing member of the Huffington Post blog team.  Along with Keith Peterman, he leads a group of ACS students attending the United Nations climate conferences where he serves as an accredited member of the press.

Rachel “Leigh” Foy, M.S., M.A.T., is an Educational Consultant specializing in climate science literacy, building on an award winning high school science teaching career at York Suburban High School and adjunct faculty member at York College of Pa. Leigh's latest job experience was working remotely on a multi-national learning science team to produce content for medical educators. She was an associate editor on the national High School POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) Initiative and is an exceptional workshop facilitator and presenter for POGIL and climate science literacy. In 2015 Leigh was awarded the MIT Inspirational Teacher of the Year award. Leigh and Greg were awarded the 2019 American Chemical Society's National Award "Incorporation of Sustainability into Chemical Education" for their work in climate science literacy.

Matt Cordes is the President and Principle Writer for Writing Works LTD. Matt has served as editor for three ACS Symposium publications connected to the ACS UN Student Ambassadors program, and has attended multiple COPs.  He and Keith Peterman are currently writing a book focusing on climate change which is scheduled to be published in 2021.
